About Ken
Thanks for visiting my website! A little bit about me, I was born in Worcester to English and Irish parents, brought up in the suburbs of Coventry - (the city has an excellent and very under-rated music scene) which is where I decided I wanted to be an artist and creator especially taking influence from my family who also largely happen to be artists.
At university I studied Popular Music Performance in London where I focused mainly on electric bass guitar and composition for film & TV, going on to be involved in several original musical projects over the years. For several years I played bass guitar in bands on cruise ships before transitioning to more guitar-based roles and singing, leading me to prioritise my solo work as I continue to do so today, giving me a little extra time to spend on my other passion which is composition.
In 2022 I married my wonderful wife Marie who has supported me through many many miles on the road driving to gigs and always listening politely through ceaseless renditions of 'Brown Eyed Girl' and the entire back catalogue of Oasis.
In June 2024 we moved to County Galway together, where we live happily in a small house surrounded by cows.
